I tried using the clone stamp tool which sort of worked-but isn't fantastic......

What should I do???

Is there anyway to identify the pencil mark in one spot-and then have the whole pencil marking removed???

and I am new at this so treat me as a "newbie".....

Thanks

Nope, sorry. Using the clone stamp is pretty much the only way. It'll take a while...I'm sorry.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

As a couple of my esteemed PdN peers have pointed out, the Clone Stamp tool is your best option.

If you're patient, it can yield some great results.
