On the layers window (bottom right window) click the icon on the bottom right of that. A window called "layer properties" should come up. Next to where it says blending, click the dropdown box and select which one you want.

I'm still alive!

On the Layers window (bottom right corner of the screen), right click on the layer you want to change, hit "Properties," and click the drop-down box. :-)

Frojo, you beat me, but I was amazed at how close those two descriptions were!

In the future, if you hit F1, it'll open the Help file which can answer that question even faster!

Hope this helps.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
