That she is, TLH. Tell ya what. You can have my major if I can have your gf.

(Kidding, kidding. I wouldn't take the deal even if you were dumb enough to agree. :-))

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I envy you, T_Lh.

I'm in the process of converting my Graphics teacher (Mark, bless him) into appreciating Paint.NET as a viable alternative to Ps. At first he was like: 'I'm sorry, Paint-what?'; a few days ago: 'oh yeah, that weird little program'; and today: 'is that Photoshop? Oh, it's not. That's pretty good'. I'll give him a week before he asks where to find Paint.NET.

For our module unit we have to provide screenshots to prove* that the work we do is ours and is using completely first-hand sources, so by taking it home I got the chance to flash off my Royale Noir theme (which heavily contrasts the common bright blue Luna seen with everybody else) and Paint.NET, of which I purposely created an excuse to use Rotate / Zoom and the new-look effects, hence Mark's response of 'that's pretty good'. He still enforces the use of Ps for the fact it's an industry-standard piece of graphics software, and I can understand why he does this, but he's also mentioned he sees no real objection to using other software because when it boils down to it, it's just a tool.

I would post what I've done, but knowing my luck some fluke and quirk of fate will lead the moderating board to see my work somewhere on the Internet uncredited and think I've plagiarised (second time I've wrote that today) for my A-Level. I am happy though, nonetheless.

*Both the Examination Board and I say 'prove', but it took me less than five minutes to edit a screenshot to retain consistency between that and the other screenshots, so if I can, others can, too. And no doubt will.

Doctor Who, Series Three, Episode 10. "Blink."

So spooky. So creepy. I LOVE it. :-) I've seen it twice and it still keeps me on the edge of my seat.

"They're coming. The Angels are coming for you, but listen - your life could depend on this - don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast, faster than you could believe. DON'T turn your back, DON'T look away, and DON'T BLINK.

Good luck."

@ Rubrica:Eh? a A bot, on here, or on Wikipedia or some other site like that?

New thing to be happy about: I finally finished taking screenshots for the tutorial I'm doing! :mrgreen:Yes, I know, it's not all that big a deal, but I swear I've only been getting about 10 minutes of work-free, hassle-free time since I started my GCSE courses

@ Vista?: You lucky, lucky *bleep*! I consider myself lucky when I have less than two hours of homework every night, and that doesn't include revision for modules and other various tests. Gawd, whatever happened to free time?

Agreed. So, my happiness for today is that I did half of my coursework/homework in college, thus more time to forumate.

@ Vista: Sounds good! What year are you in?

@ Rubrica: Wha'?!? Are you joking? Are you mad? Are you feeling underchallenged in the extreme by this suffusion of homework?

.:EDITBECAUSEIDON'TWANTTODOUBLEPOST:.

@ Vista: Enjoy the years that don't matter while you can; years 7 and 8 don't matter, and year 9 if your school doesn't do SATs. Year 10, they really pile it on... 'Tisn't fun...

Damn the SATS! Got Level 5's everywhere back in my year 6 SATS but oh god, how will I survive when I'm in Year 9 and 10

Wow. I again repeat my four questions - What, where, how much, can I have some? Wow. I swear you're the first person I've known to ever be that positive about homework.

I myself am fine with some homework; I prefer doing essays to exercises. I find I can, essentially show off more than one can with a page of exercises.

@ Vista: If you got 5s, you'll cope just fine... I got 5s, and now I'm in one of the top 10 schools in the country! You'll be fine.

.:EDITBECAUSEIDON'TWANTTODOUBLEPOST:.

@ Rubrica: Hold on, you're 9, and you get three or four pieces of homework a night from your school? Have you been put up a couple of years?
