...So Mac-ish it isnt even funny....

I'm surprised CMD didn't jump all over that in vicious anger.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

You must admit that Mac is quite stylish. That glass over grass looked amazing, and does on a Mac. If anything, one should take that as a compliment.

Sure. But Dan's anger is always kindled against the Apple.

The only thing I don't hate about Apple is the visual component of the UI. Thing is, I don't like how Apple computers work, so I find it as an instance of form over function. Take the MacBook Air, for example. Mac is just a lot of "wouldn't it be cool if" wish fulfillment - they look better and are organized better, but none of it is as innovative as they try to make it out to be. It's just someone else's feature wrapped in a few layers of "manufactured cool".

But anyway, this the the Sanctuary. It's a happy place, not a place for Apple talk. ;)

And FYI, I do take it as a compliment, Mike, so thanks. When I designed that layout, I was just coming out of a time where I tried to replicate a Mac style all over the place, with a bunch of glassy blue buttons everywhere. That was a branch off, using the glass style over something other than a blue gradient. ;)

I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast.

And that may be true.

On a more happier note, I am beginning construction of my attempt at a 'tableless' site layout for Mike's Brush. Hopefully I can finish something soon, but with being crashed one never knows.

Gaah! Me noeslikey ambiguous peoplez! :( :x :P :o

?

It wouldn't be a secret if he told you now, would it?

Has anybody recognized david's new stylish signature :I

Heh. Thanks. :-) It's not a big deal; really just a placeholder until I get a decent enough idea for a new one.

I was in my Sequential Narrative class at the time; we were looking at comic books. I suppose that's where I came up with the idea...

Anyway, thanks! I appreciate your kind comments.
