null54 792
I managed to get G'MIC-Qt version 2.4.3 compiling with Visual Studio, and the Stylize filter rendering time dropped from 32 seconds to 2 seconds for the same image. 😲 4 1 Quote Plugin Pack | PSFilterPdn | Content Aware Fill | G'MIC | Paint Shop Pro Filetype | RAW Filetype | WebP Filetype The small increase in performance you get coding in C++ over C# is hardly enough to offset the headache of coding in the C++ language. ~BoltBait

null54 792
Someone on GitHub has modified my DDS FileType Plus plugin so that is can be used by other .NET applications. I found the project name and description amusing. Quote ddsfiletype-plus-hack Dirty solution to add DDS BC7 write/read support to .NET using PAINT.NET plugin. BoltBait 3,312
I bought a new car yesterday. 😎 Well, kinda new--it was a previous daily rental with 5,577 miles on it. And, it came from the same dealership that I bought it at. It is "Toyota Certified" so it comes with the full factory warranty, same as if I'd purchased it new. It is a 2019 Prius AWD-e LE. The difference in price between this one and a brand new 2020 model was over $5000. So, major score for me! In fact, it was $2K cheaper than similar cars of the same model year at other dealerships. (There are no major updates between the 2019 model and the 2020 model.) The only disappointment is that the car is dark gray and I really wanted a blue one. But, I'll settle for dark gray color to save $5K! (My current car is basically the same color, so it's not that big of a sacrifice on my part.) 2 Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game

Djisves 595
Congratulations @welshblue, this is really big! The same search at my end (although it produces most of the other image results) does not contain your tutorial image. It must have something to do with regional or even personal (scary) variance. Having watched The Social Dilemma on Netflix the other day, I'm curious if others get your image in their results in a similar search.

Also, I released a Photoshop-compatible filter interface for G'MIC-Qt on GitHub: https://github.com/0xC0000054/gmic-8bf I am surprised that it has had over 500 downloads in the week since it was released. 2 Quote Plugin Pack | PSFilterPdn | Content Aware Fill | G'MIC | Paint Shop Pro Filetype | RAW Filetype | WebP Filetype The small increase in performance you get coding in C++ over C# is hardly enough to offset the headache of coding in the C++ language. ~BoltBait

As far as I am aware, it is only available through the GitHub Releases API. I use the Refined GitHub browser extension, it queries the GitHub API and places the download count next to each release asset (along with many other features). 1 Quote Plugin Pack | PSFilterPdn | Content Aware Fill | G'MIC | Paint Shop Pro Filetype | RAW Filetype | WebP Filetype The small increase in performance you get coding in C++ over C# is hardly enough to offset the headache of coding in the C++ language. ~BoltBait
BoltBait 3,312
“When I was 15, I spent a month working on an archeological dig. I was talking to one of the archeologists one day during our lunch break and he asked those kinds of “getting to know you” questions you ask young people: Do you play sports? What’s your favorite subject? And I told him, no I don’t play any sports. I do theater, I’m in choir, I play the violin and piano, I used to take art classes. And he went WOW. That’s amazing! And I said, “Oh no, but I’m not any good at ANY of them.” And he said something then that I will never forget and which absolutely blew my mind because no one had ever said anything like it to me before: “I don’t think being good at things is the point of doing them. I think you’ve got all these wonderful experiences with different skills, and that all teaches you things and makes you an interesting person, no matter how well you do them.” And that honestly changed my life. Because I went from a failure, someone who hadn’t been talented enough at anything to excel, to someone who did things because I enjoyed them. I had been raised in such an achievement-oriented environment, so inundated with the myth of Talent, that I thought it was only worth doing things if you could “Win” at them.” ~Kurt Vonnegut 2 1 Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game

Manc 324
Thanks @Cakie67 and @Pixey I should've said. She had a healthy boy, 7lb 6oz. Very stressful because she had a C section. Because of Covid only her boyfriend was allowed to be with her. This made my sister and niece even more stressed out. Luckily they could talk on 'Facetime'. Not for the first time I say, imagine Covid happening in the 80s or 90s. Nobody would have a clue what was happening. Anyway, all good. Stay safe. Manc.😉 Edited March 30 by Manc
Cakie67 31
Most men usually forget to tell the details out of all the excitement. I will say a prayer for them in my prayers today. I think the Covid was " manufactured deliberately " by China and some Democrats here in America. I do not believe this was a " creation" of God. Keep well my friend.
