I dropped a pizza at work yesterday. And then I got a pizza stuck half on the palette and half in the oven. Then I knocked half the cheese off one. Then I boxed a dine-in order. Yesterday was not a good day for my customers.

But yes, meat-lovers' pizza is the way to go.

Happiness: I stumbled acros Fav4, a website that lets you set it as a start page and links to sites you choose. I thought, "hey, I should make one of those, except even more personalized for myself."

And thus, with a little help from the Nexus One, GCS and a few hours spent on making icons, my startpage was born. (Best viewed in latest versions of Chrome or Firefox.)

Next on the list:

  • [*:2u7j2dm8]add more links
    [*:2u7j2dm8]make it more Nexus One-y
[*:2u7j2dm8]make the images light up on mouseover

I run Opera. It comes with speed dial. I can customize it. And it comes with a Google search bar on the top 8)

I am more or less stabbing at the amount of attention Fav4 is getting on tech blogs like LifeHacker and Downloadsquad. They have qualms like lack of shortcut keys and how awesome it is to have access to Google and a few of your favorite sites. It is pretty ridiculous considering that Opera has had it built in for sometime now.

Love it! I'm using it as my startpage too!

As some on here know, I play Magic: the Gathering and am constantly working to achieve semiprofessional status. This means coming in the top eight at Pro Tour Qualifiers (PTQs). On March 6th, we are having an Extended (a constructed [as in bring your own deck] format that determines how many recent sets of MtG cards are legal) PTQ. Because my AP Chem teacher is the Level 5 tournament organizer he runs the PTQs for the South East region. As such, I will be attending and competing. I have never T8'd at a PTQ but I have only ever participated in two of them. This time I aim to win, or at least come in the T8. Because of this, I have been working on another forum known as MTG Salvation. The forum is HUGE and gets tons of hits per day. That is where I posted my decklist for the upcoming tournament to receive some feedback regarding my card choices and how it will fare against the current Extended meta game (which decks are being played in the format). That is why when I read this article and realized that he was playing against my decklist during his fifth round, I was ecstatic. The author of that article is a pro level MTG player, and he complimented my deck style. Heck, my deck even fared well against him. Upon further investigation, his team was seriously considering my deck for an upcoming competitive level tournament known as Grand Prix*. I feel like a 10 year old who just opened his very own Xbox for Christmas.

* The difference between a Grand Prix and a Pro Tour Qualifier is that a Pro Tour Qualifier is just as it sounds: a qualifier. Winning a PTQ earns you an invitation to that season's Pro Tour. A Grand Prix is very similar to a Pro Tour in that there is one every season, however you don't have to win an invite to a Grand Prix, you can just show up and play in the tournament.*

Probably because I've never heard of MOTL until now. Usually I just sell any of my expensive cards on Ebay and buy singles from Card Shark. Speaking of which, my Tarmogoyf has shot up to a 100$ card. Probably because Extended season is just now coming around. I might just list it on MOTL instead of Ebay. Thanks for the link, BB.
