I've uploaded a final version of my song, you may listen to it if you like :)

Wow, that's quite good. :-) I like. I like a lot.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

My mind... it is being invaded by repetitive and catchy drum beats! Now it's going to be stuck in my head (even more than Frojo's happy birthday mp3)! :)

Why thank you kind sir, your words of praise create peace, tranquility & happiness in my soul, more than my song does anyway ;)

So much praise, I'm sure my head won't be able to fit through another door ;)

Seriously, thanks for listening people, it means something to me & I'm glad you enjoyed it. More will follow though I can't promise when or how similar it will be to what I've just linked you to. :)

Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you & be with men that are ten times

better than you can imagine. These men are called musicians. :D

New job, 10-minute bus ride from my apartment. :-D Awesome. No more paying for gas here!

@mattblacklamb not bad I liked it . This reminds me of that new age stuff they were playing in the early 70's but this is just a bit more edgy. any plans for lyrics?

Not at the moment, I might think about it, but I quite like it instrumental.

yes instrumental is real good reason I asked was I couldn't for the live of me figure out what words you would put with this type of music. only thing for lyrics that came to mind was that hip hop rap and this piece is just too sophisticated musically for that style.

It doesn't help that I'm an abysmal lyric writer

In response to the complicated music bit, it's not really that complex, there's 2 main riffs, that have a harmony & a bassline, that's about it, there's also the drums they took a little while to get right & they are probably the most complex part of the track.

Thanks for listening :)

Carl Sagan's "Cosmos." Fascinatingly well-done, even thirty years later...

@StarTrekSuite: Being my age, I wouldn't really know that much, but lemme go check on google maps.

EDIT: It's near Acton, and Maynard, and is East of Boston by like... 30 minutes.

I got User Bars! Yay! :D

I know Acton. Went to college a few years at Fitchburg State, which was in the vicinity. You lost your last tooth? I just got my first Root Canal and Crown! No fun! You must be not much older than Rubrica! I feel ooollldddd!

I'm 12... A bit older.

Rubrica does seem rather smart for his age, doesn't he?

Yep, I entered his competition, which was laid out pretty well. I, on the other hand, am 34, and hope to someday be able to create images close to the same quality as you young whippersnappers. Heck, one of the animated gif programs I use was developed by a 17 year old!

Hee hee.. Whippersnappers? You sound like my science teacher.

Yeah, Cheat Engine, a memory-editing program, was made by an under-22 year-old, in less than a month. It's really nice, too.

A memory editing program sounds scary, like registry editing or something. I chalk this up to the fact that one learns new information faster at a younger age. I wasn't truly exposed to windows based programs until I was in College! Everything before was DOS or more obscure.

Nothing to be afraid of, mostly used for hacking values (number of coins, points, life, ammo...) in games on websites like Miniclip.com, AddictingGames.com, and CrazyMonkeyGames.com.I don't use it much, I'm more into design. But I have a buddy that programs, hacks, all that stuff.

Yeah, I started pretty early on computers. Mixing and matching clipart in PowerPoint.
