david.atwell
I just realized that I never made clear - I did buy the 4GB kit. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

pyrochild
Once again Pyro points out my mistakes... I have a knack for that. Probably why I used to get beat up in school. Now, though, I've realized that preventative maintenance* works wonders. *read: turning the tables Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Rubrica
Thank you, I'm glad you agree with me, as I have read about 11 reviews of it to make sure it's the right game for me, so I would have been very annoyed if no-one agreed with me. usedHONDA
$4000... that's about what Rick's computer costs. A bit of overkill for somebody that doesn't work for Microsoft, isn't it? It's now available in 32GB flash and it's also compatible with unprotected AAC audio, so you can transfer music from iTunes plus subscriptions, as well as podcasts (without having to convert them to MP3). I currently own a Zen Vision: M and it's way better than the iPod, mainly due to it's extended video codec support (DivX and Xvid). If you're looking for bigger capacity (HDD player), I just bought an Archos 605. You can get this anywhere from 4GB flash (with SD expansion) through 30GB, 80GB up to 160GB models. This is a fantastic music and video player. Touchscreen, widescreen, record direct from TV, web browser (ask Ash, he's just bought one too). You should definitely check both of these out before simply settling for an iPod. -CJ
Mike Ryan
My Creative Vision: M is by far better than the iPod (imo). Better support, easy navigation, great audio and video playback. And, I got mine refurbished from Creative at a whopping $130. It came without a scratch and works great.
usedHONDA
blah blah blah Once again, I'd rather get a 30GB Zune. It's about as big as the iPod classic, holds as much as advertised, Wifi file sharing and music store, and it costs from $120-200. Now that the Zune 80GBs came out, Microsoft is getting rid of their 30GB model, so now's the time to get them. It's going for $130 over at Toys R Us. I soon plan to upgrade my mother board and processor to quad core, next gen stuff, but that's only gonna be another $350-$400. So for ~$1000, I can have a computer comparable to Rick's. usedHONDA
I... hate... you... I still want to get a Nokia N800. Up to 16GB with the power of 2SD slots, an additional USB socket, WiFi, touch screen, Skype, Google Maps, Google Talk, Firefox-based web browser, open source Linux-based OS, Rhapsody, and it costs only $230. Oh, and it's a cell phone. Yes, it's the iPhone killer, yet it was released 6 months prior to the iPhone. MattBlackLamb
stuff about Creative Not Creative, I've got one of their MP3 players (Zen Xtra) & it's been broken twice in the 18 or so months I've had it, requieing me to but a new HDD both times. Sure I could have got Creative to fix it but I got it on ebay & it would have been twice as expensive. Their customer support isn't that great either I found, especially considering that their tech support forums are a very depressing place for any Creative salesperson. Anyhoo, the next MP3 player I get (when this one dies again), will not be made by Creative, it may be made by Sony, or someone else. I don't really want one that plays video so any that have video playing capabilities will be ignored more than likely. Quote dA Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time.
