No, there is still a British Empire, albeit very small and not called that. Britain still owns a few small islands such as Montserrat, and the Queen's head of state of Australia. If only Myrddin was here, he could tell us in what I imagine would be a far more detailed version.

I'm not sure exactly what it is about post count you find so fascinating, personally I've always thought it was substance over quantity that mattered.

Says oma, who just passed my post count.

"Not I," said the cat.

"Not I," said the pig.

Why would you want a large post count? To show off how much of your life you have wasted to an internet resource site? There is no point to want to increase your post count. All that says is that 'I don't really care what I post, just as long as I hit the Submit button succesfully.'

Yeah, I am so proud of my large post count. Whoo!

Lol, I've been here long enough that I should have more. ;P

I don't care though, I just find it strange 'cause I'm known as a resident post counter and troll on most forums Disregard that.

It's funny how those of us with the higher post counts are always the ones ridiculing/discouraging posting-for-postcount's-sake.

Hypocrisy?

Or wisdom?

I've a high post count ? well not really considering how long I've been here, how many questions I've answered and how many pictures I've added to the forum. I'd say my post count is about normal. A few entries in the overflow every week, at least one picture a week, and many comments in galleries (not as much lately ...as I've been busy), yes fairly normal.... I have to look I'm not even sure what my post count is sitting at .

ciao OMA

Edit oh its over 2700... :lol:

Seeing as I managed to poke fun at myself, for all intensive purposes I am going with B) Wisdom. However, most of the larger post counts have been here in over a year, and besides Simon ( :P ), never really spammed the boards as heavily as many of the newer '1 w4nt moar poztz!' spammers new users.

I would categorize people like Pyro, Myself, David, Rick, BB, Simon, Ash, CMD, Oma, and others as the casual 'been here for a while' posters, posting casually.

Says the man with 3211.

And I didn't say I wanted it, but if you get there, why not let it be known? Jeez.

Post Counting really does suck, though.

Don't do it.

(My vote: Wisdom. :-P)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
