lipper
Hello and forgive me if this is in the wrong place or a dumb question. I have recently started to learn web design.(html, xhtml, css and so on) When I use paint net to design backgroung image for a web site it will not show up in Explorer but will show up in Mozzilla FireFox And I can't figure out why. Any help is greatly appericated. Thanks
Hellfire010
This forum isn't really for that sort of thing. Perhaps you should post in Overflow, but then again this might be considered "Tech support," in which case you should look for a different forum. I'd try to help, but I don't see the source. And, if you're trying to use a .pdn file as a background, goodluck (it won't work). Save as .gif, .png, .jpg, or something of that sort. Helio
That would most likely be a code issue. Quote v An excellent open–source strategy game—highly recommended. lipper
That would most likely be a code issue. So I guess you mean a PdN code issue since it works fine on Firefox Browser. If so is there anyway to make it so it will work in Exploer?
david.atwell
No, I think he means a website code issue. What format are you saving the file in? Mr Frojo
It might be something wrong with Internet explorer. Which version is it? And btw, this should belong in the overflow. Quote I'm still alive!

Anyways, this is probobly something to do with Internet Explorer. Theres some wierd stuff with that browser, and stuff like this can happen. For example, usedHONDA, a user on these forums, just put up another page on his site that for some reason, is formated wierd on Explorer, but works fine in firefox or other browsers. kipper010
I actually had this problem not too long ago...I use Firefox and Internet Explorer....what image uploader do you use? I would suggest Photobucket, but I don't see how it could be the website's code if it works on Mozilla.
david.atwell
Just request a mod to do it. Hit the exclamation mark in the bottom-right of your original post. Crazy Man Dan
Professional Web Designer Guy swoops in to save the day! (Alright, so I'm full of myself. That doesn't make me a bad person... <_<) How are you adding the image as background? If you post-up the markup, I'm sure someone will be able to spot what IE doesn't like.
