new type of adware virus? anybody got help ideas?

This does not involve Paint.Net!

I haven't ever had problems with adware before, but somehow I have aquired a very tenatious type of adware virus *cough, sneeze*.

Background: I have downloaded about a dozen different adware removers and a couple reg cleaners, I am running avast! and it catches most everything except this one. All databases for all the removers and virus detecors and cleaners are updated.

What happens: I disconnect from the net completly and run avast!, then one by one run all my adware removers, then finally a couple reg cleaners. Several trojans keep popping up everytime I do this and are removed. I restart and run one more scan. Everything says clean. I connect to the net and then after a couple hours of browsing a desktop pop-up comes out of nowwhere with this URL everytime (http://srv.clubring.net?q=/?show=3411&thread=13).

My guess: I haven't been abe to locate the offending file (obviously). I noticed that a random activeX app seems to get hijacked. So I delete all activeX apps, but to acess some sites you need an app. So on a random site that I trust I download activeX. AHHHHH! it gets hijacked! So the virus is still hidden on my comp somewhere waiting.... hiding.... and darn hard to find. I haven't been able to locate it in the task manager ether.

Right now I need to run cleaners at least twice a day to keep new stuff from getting installed on my comp through this virus. I know there are some tech savy (more then me) people that are on this board, so any ideas?

edit: added a "u" to an errent "yo"

Well, it seems you've obviously been going to some site and downloading something......

Anyways, the only way I could think would to be put a tracker on your files, so you know if anything happens to them, basically do that while you have the command prompt open, and then look until the virus pops up, and that'll show you the file going insane....or at least I think so, this theory was thought up on the spot :D

And this is NOT a tech support forum. The sticky at the top of this forum kind of gives it away, yeah? Do not post this here, go find a tech support forum for it.
