david.atwell
Well, it is a progressive JPEG. Are you waiting until it's fully resolved/loaded before you try copying? Also, have you tried simply saving it to your desktop and opening/importing, instead of copying to the clipboard? Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
Ghost Ranger
Try pressing Ctrl+A (select all) before copying and pasting the picture in a new image/layer. The problem appears to be caused by the fact that copying by pressing Ctrl+C with nothing selected results in nothing being copied. Without anything selected try going to the Edit menu and notice how "Copy" is grayed-out.
