Obviously, we have very creative artist that participate on the forums. But does their creativity expand beyond image editing and creation?

Description:

A haiku poem is created by using only 17 syllables, in only 3 lines. Originating from the Japanese, the poems combine language and content in a compact rigid form. Usually haiku should form a mental image in the readers mind of what you are describing.

How to play:

Using the Haiku of the person above you, start your Haiku with the last line in their poem.

* Not Required: Feel free to later edit your post to place a PDN image you created to express your poem visually.

Haiku Rules:

Give your haiku a title. Remember that haiku does not rhyme.

1st Line: Must be five syllables

2nd Line: Must be seven syllables

3rd Line: Must be five syllables

Starting Haiku:

Title: The Sky

Up above and blue

gray puffs gently drip the rain

giving life to all.

The next poster will no use "Giving life to all" as the first line in their haiku.

Your poem was good... Unfortunately, mine did not say "Giving life to all" as the first line... but the theme was the same... I wrote this one in 2000 for EXN :)
