ohh man!

why do i have to join da just for the chat, can't we have something else instead where you don't have to be a member such as chatango?

I suggest joining dA anyway. It helps you get a more focused critique.

dA is a great place... I hang there more than I do this forum. It's the Facebook of art communities, with tons of drawings, computer programs, photography, fractals, webcomics, and anything else that has to do with digital media. That is the place where you can get discovered! For example, I have a cursor pack, The Next OS. I post it in this forum, I get a "cool" and a "I'm using it right now!", but when I submitted it to dA, I get tons of comments, downloads, and people who add it to their favorite art pieces (oh, and 2500+ people looked at it, and 1100+ people downloaded it). It inspired me enough to make 2 more sequels to it, my most popular one being tNOS1 Revisited with almost 1700 views and 700 downloads, that number growing daily. deviantART essentially works better than having your own website.

Er, me, usedHONDA, and Andrew D. The conversation is very one sided, though.

I think there should be a Paint.NET IRC channel, mostly because I don't use DA.

Most of the well-known forum members use dA. It's majority over inconvenience, and majority won.

And if your a graphics artist and don't have a dA, your insane.

Besides, IRC would be a pain to set up. dAmn is simple.

Not necessarily. dA's Terms & Conditions aren't exactly the most appealing...

Yes. I have made a conscious decision not to join dA.

An IRC channel takes about 5 minutes to set up, max.

I'm from OneClick Wi-Fi, a Nintendo WFC community site.

I'm not going to make an IRC channel. It's fine as is and everyone is happy with it.

And whats wrong with dA? Their terms and conditions are fine.

Also, to make a dA chat only really takes a minute.

I'm not looking for an argument - I could make an IRC channel if you like. I'd also like to be considered part of "everyone".

Just hang around on the forum, you'll get known in time.

Also, please stop constantly joining and exiting the dAmn PDN Channel. It's annoying, and considered as flooding.
