Whenever I'm coding a web page, I use this:

EDIT: I just noticed you forgot the self-closing tag aka "/>".

That's only necessary for XHTML.

All my HTML experience has fallen short to the power of valid XHTML 1.1 Strict!


Anglo-American English, I code in XHTML + CSS so much, I my knowledge of HTML has slowly eroded away.
