DarkShock
A few days ago I was in a hurry and I was editing an image and I didn't want to save it (I was just experimenting new things with the image). As said I was in a hurry and I tried to close the image and the usual "Unsaved changes" window came up asking if I wanted to save the changes. I hurried and I mistakenly hit "Save" when I didn't want to save the image in its current way. Will the Paint.net developers be able to make a confirmation window that asks if you're sure that you want to save any unsaved changes? ---- Gallery | Sig Tutorial | deviantART | Sig Videos | PhotoBucket ----D E S T I N Y
Myrddin
I see where you're coming from, but if you are willing to click 'no' for a confirmation to save then why aren't you willing to click Cancel when accidentally saving? For instance: The way it is now... - work; - close unsaved changes and asked to save; - click 'Save' by accident; - hit 'Cancel' to exit the dialog and go through the process again. You're suggestion... - work; - close unsaved changes and asked to save; - click 'Save' by accident; - hit 'Cancel' to cancel the saving process and go through the process again. The exact same steps for both instances, however if you're proposing that once you have cancelled the saving process PDN automatically closes as if hitting 'Don't save' then it's just another dialog to confuse people and clutter PDN up. What you're suggesting is a confirmation of a confirmation. My two pence on the matter and don't take anything I say as a group consensus of opinions. Rick Brewster
Well I guess I could add a "are you sure you want to save?" dialog. It would repeat itself 5 times just to make sure you were REALLY sure. And then it you clicked "No" it would say "Are you really sure that you DON'T want to save?" C'mon man. Worst feature request ever. HITMAN-X-
This may seem stilly but if you were in a hurry and did not read before you clicked and accidentally save over a file you needed. Don't you think you would have done the same thing in the next window asking you were your in a hurry and don't want to read the window. Meaning you end up saving over the file anyway. If anything I like to see an option to turn that "are you sure you don't want to save?" dialog box off or on and to be able to set options for it like always save image when closing Paint.NET or Never save image when closing Paint.NET. That way I could preset my options and not have to deal with that dialog box everytime I am playing in Paint.NET. Other then that the dialog box is enough as there is people out there who click the close button and forget to save. Next time your in a hurry and don't want to save your work. You could just ALT F4 Paint.NET and that should close it down with no Dialog box. DEXTUT.COM
