The MadHatter refferrence is from the obvious movie but when I was about 7 or 8 my parents dressed me up as him for halloween I mean the whole get up. Anyway out of all the pics that manged to dissapear over the years that one holds strong for whatever paranormal reason. I was browsing Joanne Rowling's website and came across a Celtic wood chart. In their time period, the Celts assigned a type of wood to each child born based on their date of birth. Using this chart I found out that I would have had red ochre and therefore looked up the Latin term for that wood and it was Rubrica.

xCensored.. I started to realize that my life is becoming a blockade from trying new things because of my disability. My parents would tell me not to do this and not to do that because of it. I always use the letter "x" for my name for when I'm playing a game or on a forum. As for the Censored, it means blocking, so it fits well with my life.

Hellfire010 - Okay, a few years ago I found a game called Runescape. I was like, "Ooo I should play this ... but what should my name be?" I tried "Andrew," but that was taken (by the owner of the game, which I didn't know then) so I tried a few more words, and my brother (who was playing final fantasy (forget which one)) suggested Hellfire, so I tried it. It was taken, so I hit 010 and there ya go. Anyway, I've since quit. I found these forums around the time I was still playing, so I used it. I wish I had used my AIM name, AndrewM16921, but oh well. It did spark a lot of inspiration in fiery sigs in the past.

AndrewM16921 - Andrew, my first name, M for Mazar, my last name, 16921, my lucky number. I don't know what its my lucky number, but it is.

Symphony of the Departed.

I was thinking of a name for a band (which has no more relevance), and I was like Orchestra of the Dead. I debated amongst my thoughts and figured that "the dead" was too blatant and 'demented'. So I tried to think of words for "dead". I had a synonym, but I couldn't quite remember it, I knew it started with a d, but I was stumped.So, I of course, went to the nearest thesaurus (thesaurus.com!). I typed in dead, and there, my memory was refreshed and I got "departed". So now I had: Orchestra of the Departed. Still, I was not satisfied. I began a brainstorming session (it lasted around ten seconds), then I came to the final conclusion of: Symphony of the Departed.

My user name , the Simbul, came from a fictional character in the Forgotten Realms Books. ( i do love my fantasy books) Her real name , in the book, is Allassra Shentrantra Silverhand also, known as The Witch-Queen of Aglarond. Well, anyway, the last book I read with her in it was "Elminster in Hell". Mind you, I have always admire her in the other books , but in this one, she had fought so hard and long to save her man, Elminster, from hell and it's demons. I can relate to her because i feel this way about my husband. So i adopted her name.

Well, my current one may be rather obvious. :-) My parents gave it to me, and all. But if you were wondering about my other common username - ilinamorato - the short story is this: it's Italian. Now, I don't know much Italian other than that, but I was in a bookstore with my ex-girlfriend, and we were reading a book that included some romantic "pet names" in other languages. I liked the look of "inamorata" - meaning a girl who is a lover or a beloved. The male form is "inamorato," and since my name (David) is a Hebrew name meaning "beloved," I figured that it fit quite well. I'd also like to be described as someone who loves everyone, so the "lover" definition fits as well. I tagged "il" (the) on the beginning to make it more distinctive. :-)

Being italian I hope you do not mind if I give you here few tips on that word. First, it is innamorato (2 n). Second thing the article before it should be l'innamorato (l with apostrophe is a contracted form of the article "il" and, as a general rule , words starting with a consonant need "il" : il cane (the dog), il maestro (the teacher) whilst when starting with a vocal they need l with apostrophe: l'innamorato, l'amore...).

I had no idea, but I definitely should have discussed with a native (or even a halfway-fluent ;-)) Italian speaker before I posted that explanation. The fact is that my username - ilinamorato - is a terrible form of pidgin Italian. Oops!

I'd change it, but the cat is out of the bag now... to be honest, l'innamorato looks even more beautiful than what I mistakenly use!

Well, a year ago. I had 'issues' that were a combination of classic teenage angst, my own insecurities, and rejection from my first real crush. At the time, I thought that 'Wither' defined my art style, mostly because that's what I wanted my art to be... As time went on, I soon discovered that nothing I've ever made looked withered in any way, shape, or form.

So, Wither, became my alias for these forums. I wasn't terribly active at first. The first few months I was so wrapped up in self-pity that I didn't have time to be productive at anything. :wink:

Time went on, and I straightened out my priorities, got over the girl, slapped myself in the face a few times, and decided to cheer up. So now I'm the bright, cheery person you see before you. And I'm actually quite happy to see that "Wither" has become synonymous with a certain level of quality around these parts.

So there it is. You all know where Wither came from. If I were to sign up now and pick a new name... it would probably just be Trøy. Because I like to add that little stroke to my O when I'm on the internet. :wink:

i got the game unreal tournament and i thought of what name to have on it.it started as somthing like comander.R3VENGE/SGT.R3VENGE and eventually i shortened it and turned it into R3VENGE

i also have fiR3 which was another name i created from the idea of another persons name i saw(x-fire-kalter) i adapted it into my wierdness of replacing e's with 3's.

and yet again another name X-pheonix-X is another gaimng name i thought sounded really cool

So I saved from a sure premature death this little skinny blackish sweetie stray cat, as far as she is skinny and black she reminds me of a mouse (topo) but she also got those beautiful gemstone eyes like a topaz (topazio), contracting the 2 words topo and topazio here it comes my cat's name and my username.
