Mr Groch Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Hi! My name is Damian Grocholski (occupation: IT Student). I have translated the Paint .NET 2.5 and 3.0 into the Polish language! Seba Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 So we have two translations Paint.net into Polish language. My translation is here: http://www.seba222.republika.pl/plloc.zip Quote
Mr Groch Posted December 24, 2005 Author Posted December 24, 2005 Hi Seba, Your translation is not bad, but you have maked a few mistakes. First, many of the strings is too long (don't match exact fields). Second, you don't use properly specific "polish graphical slang" (it is most visible in blend modes translation) IMO I think, that my translation is a bit better. We can together translate the documentation if you want Regards Damian Grocholski Quote
Rick Brewster Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 You two need to figure out which one you want to have published, whether it is Seba's, Mr Groch's, or a combination. Mr Groch Posted December 28, 2005 Author Posted December 28, 2005 What do you think Seba - could my tanslation be published? Or maybe you have reservations about that? We can together translate documentation. Quote

Pigom Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Dlaczego to jest "exe" ? Why "exe" ? Quote www.PaintNet.info.pl
Skiff Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Ponieważ jest to instalator, który wrzuca wszystko gdzie trzeba i nie ma konieczności ręcznego bawienia się. Because this is an instaler, which places all need files right there, where everything should be without having to do it manually. Quote
efpek Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) Niestety ten plik z tłumaczeniem nie działa w przypadku pracy na systemie x64. Trzeba otworzyć execa jakimś kompresorem i wypakować zawartość do folderu instalacyjnego Paint.NETa wtedy dopiero zadziała. Unfortunately this file with the translation does not suport x64 systems. We have to open this file with some compressor and extract the contents to the Paint.NET installation folder manually - then just work. Edited April 11, 2010 by efpek Quote
Skiff Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 (edited) Instaltor działa również w systemie x64. Trzeba było tylko ręcznie wskazać ścieżkę instalacji Paint.NET.Teraz jest poprawiona wersja dla x64. Użytkowników x86-32 proszę o informację, czy tam nadal działa instalator.------------------------------------------------------------------------------Installer worked on x64 systems too. But it was neccesary to manually input Paint.NET install path.I supply corrected version of installer for x64 systems. Users of 32bit system please report if its still working for x86-32.---------EDIT2:Nowa wersja; poprawiłem kilka stringów + wcześniej niezauważone zmiany w strukturze tłumaczenia.here was link Edited November 15, 2013 by Skiff Quote
david.atwell Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Skiff, I've moved your translation for the alpha build into the alpha forum. I'd recommend waiting until at least the RC phase before using it here; confused users of 3.5 may have trouble. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
Skiff Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 You're right, but I already supplied it in translation update topic into that forum. So it would be doubled - in this situation - please delete that post (http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/27428-polish-localization/) Quote
