Henning
Hi, I'm looking for a fast .NET-image viewing component since the PictureBox (as the rest of the dotnet-imaging classes) is rather slow. The paint .net image-viewing/editing control is pretty fast. Do you think it would be a good idea to extract it in order to use it in other programs? Or would it be easier to write an entirlely new GDI32-based-control? Any advice would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance + happy holidays, Henning
Rick Brewster
I think that you should try it, and if it works out for you then yes, you should use it Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Henning
But do you think its worth the effort? Or would it be easier to build a viewing component from scratch? How hard is it to isolate the viewing component from the rest of the code?
Rick Brewster
I don't know, you'll have to figure it out yourself.
