To many layers + save as PNG?

Mr Frojo is right, that would be the solution as the .png format cannot handle layers.

Not really related to the subject in hand, but the final release of Paint.NET 3.10 is available now. Betas are *so* yesterday :D.

That last line made me laugh.

After seeing this line I'd probably run scandisk to make sure that there is nothing wrong with your memory. There could be a problem there but, I'm no expert. Maybe someone else can chime in here...
