Fade Tool/Dots

Is there a fade tool?

I want to fade the white box under the words "Christina DeCicco" in the below image

Also how would you make dots like this??

Try using the Gradient Tool in Transparency Mode :AlphaChannel: .

EDIT: To make those dots, use the Line tool :LineCurveTool: and switch it to the Dotted line style.

Ive done that but you can only do certain things like you can't fade the whole thing can you?

Fade i just want to be able to slightly fade an image? Is that possible?

To fade the white oval, I'd suggest lowering the oval layer's opacity. As far as I can tell you have the white oval is on it's own layer & (for this particular image) this would be the easyist way to do it.

I figured it out.

I got this....

try a linear gradient in transparency mode where it fades the edges, if not just Gaussian blur/ feather

i think that may work out better for you if not *shrug*
