Priet Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 First of all: Paint.NET is great! Finally a program that makes it easy to do some simple every-day tasks. There's but one thing I'm missing in the current version of Paint.NET: I cannot find a way to make a selection in ratio. Imagine this: I want to make a picture (screenshot, avatar, whatever) with a 80x40px dimension out of a 1920x1200 screenshot. I can make a selection of 80x40 pixels, but what to do when the subject I want to select is a few times bigger, say about 400px in height. It would be great if one could set (in this case) a custom 2:1 ratio. I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain? I really hope this help a lot of people and can be added in a future release.
