itwozntme1
Ive installed the weave plugin but i cant find it to use. Ive reinstalled it and when you extract it needs to over write the one ive already done. But when I go to effects its not on the list. Ive shut paint and re-opened but still cant find it. any ideas where i might find it im new to all this
I Like Pi
Some plugins are located in Adjustments or submenus of Effect. Maybe it's in Effects -> Distort.
Crazy Man Dan
It places itself under the Ed-gregious submenu. This is because it will only work properly on the entire canvas. No selection should be active at the time you use the plugin. It's a play on words, you know, based on the word egregious. Myrddin
Yes, there would be no problem in overwriting the file as you are replacing it with an exact copy. This is puzzling, may I ask, you are placing the file in the Effects folder in Paint.NET's directory? As in c:/Program Files/Paint.NET/Effects (this is the usual location for said folder on your computer) and only the effects folder, no where else? Thank you. Mr Frojo
This might help. Boltbait told me a long time ago: Right-Click on the dll in explorer and choose "properties". Look at the bottom of the General tab and see if there is an "unblock" button. If there is, click it, then click OK. And make sure that you just have the .dll in the effects folder, not the entire .zip Quote I'm still alive!

Myrddin
Something else is hinky then. You could try the application called PdnRepair.exe. All it does is repair odds and ends and replaces any missing files etc. and can be found in the main directory folder of Paint.NET. I used it once many months ago and it fixed the problem at the time. Anything beyond this and I have no idea what's wrong as everything that has been suggested is exactly what I would have done was I in your position.
