Installation Problem.

Recommended Posts

Right, I signed up just to ask this, I really want Paint.NET

Whenever I load the installer (the only file in the .zip) it always comes up with this error:

errorkbaimx5.png

I have redownloaded twice, twice of main mirrior and once of a alternate mirrior.

Does anyone know what is causing this problem?

More specifically, it's the .NET framework v3.0, if you were confused.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Let's see...

You should try extracting the installer to the desktop if you haven't already. I'm not sure if the installation would work right from the zip. Also make sure you have the .NET Framework 2.0 or 3.0 installed. If it still doesn't work, read this thread:

PROBLEMS WITH INSTALL UPDATE OR UNINSTALL? READ THIS.

Also, you should redefine what you call flaming. I don't see anything rude about what they were saying. After all, they're here to help you, not announce that your an idiot (of which you are not) as you may be thinking.
