Ghost Ranger
What antivirus do you use? Note that each option refers to every edition of that antivirus. Here is a list of antivirus software: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_antivirus_software I obviously couldn't put every antivirus on that list in the poll, so I just put what I thought were the most popular. I personally use AVG free edition.

usedHONDA
I use Avast, though to keep CPU and RAM low, I just delete the process in the task manager on startup Quote "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb

Ghost Ranger
I used to use McAfee, and the thing Ironic about it is that 2005 (or whatever was before 2007) version is better than the 2007 version for a few reasons: -2007 has longer boot times than the 2005 -2007 version is impossible to disable w/o uninstalling. -It is bloated, I mean it has track cleaner. So in short I switched to AVG and found it much more trouble free, and since switching have not been infected w/ a virus. As for other AVs, I heard that Norton is a real resource hog and can make boot much longer And I also heard NOD32 was really good(maybe better than AVG free) although, not free. Sozo
Heck yeah Norton's a resource hog; it upped my boot time by 30 seconds!
Andrew D
Heck yeah Norton's a resource hog; it upped my boot time by 30 seconds! I need to get rid of Norton and half of my processes. It takes me around about one and a half minutes for the computer to fully boot up from logging on.
Enormator
Antivir is enormous. To improve system performance, the guard can be deactivated and you don't have to delete the process on every startup Quote :Link: website

You may even find one on your first virus search with it.
Ghost Ranger
It is actually the same price as Norton- $40 and it looks like the 2-year subscription of NOD32 is cheaper than the 2-year of Norton.
