pwright2
Paint.net (I'm using 3.10 beta 2, previously had 2.08, I think) does not recognize that I have printers installed. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium. I have PDF creator and LaserJet 2600N installed as well as the default XPS Document Writer. Pdn originally only showed the XPS, it allowed me to install PDF Creator but every attempt to install the 2600N fails with a dialog box that says the spooler subsystem has stopped working. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, the 2600N is on a TCP/IP port. Why does Pdn not recognize that printers are already installed. Why should I have to reinstall for this program? -----Paul-----
EvilNeko
Do you have the drivers for your printer installed? ~Sammy
pwright2
Umm, yeah. The printer works fine from all other Windows programs. But Pdn doesn't recognize it as existing. When I go thru the install in Pdn, everything works fine until it tries to finally install it. Then it crashes with the error dialog. And nothing has changed. -----Paul-----

HITMAN-X-
Is this a network printer or is the pinter pluged right into the computer your using ? DEXTUT.COM
Rick Brewster
This is not a Paint.NET related problem; that printing UI and everything about printing is provided by Windows. Sorry, but we cannot help you here. You will need to contact your printer manufacturer or something.
