vigilante_squirrel
My version of Paint.net doesn't have a gradient setting, and I am trying to merge two photos together so that they become one, making top layer somewhat transparent so bottom image shows thru. I have done it in the past by starting with one photo then layering in another one (via import layer) ... but I cannot seem to figure out now how to make top photo transparent. I go to layer properties, overlay, move down the bar away from opacity, nada happens, top photo is still completely opaque. Not sure what to do now. Should I download higher beta version of Paint.Net? Will that have the tools I need?
