canoo4fun
whenever I have a photo and do cropping on a highlighted layer, the same action is applied to all layers. Can this be done only on the highlighted layer? what am I doing wrong?
janettsue
Make selection then do Edit/Cut and it will apply only to highlighted layer. I am very new at this too. I am still learning but that works for me. Hope it helps. Quote "One can't complain. I have my friends. Someone spoke to me only yesterday." Crazy Man Dan
With the way Paint.NETs layer system currently operates, all layers are the same size as the whole image. So, technically you can't "crop" a single layer. However, once you have the part of the layer you wish to keep selected, you can press [Ctrl]+ to invert the selection, then press [Delete] to remove the area you don't want. usedHONDA
CMD, can you edit the topic's title to fix the typo? It's kind of annoying to look at (but I don't know why).
