Alph Tech / STUART
This would be nice if it could center on selections, so if I want a circle in the corner to blur I wouldn't need to drag it to the center of a new layer.

Rick Brewster
Bob, I don't think that'll do what he wants. Anyway we're aware of this, and of course I agree that it's not all that great to not be able to change the center point of the radial blur. That said, we're looking at making a number of improvements in a future release that will be available to use for all effects. S0S
Anyway we're aware of this, and of course I agree that it's not all that great to not be able to change the center point of the radial blur. (not for 2.6) Yeah, after using "Doker" or "PC Dokter's" plug-ins, I liked the adapability of his plugins and it was something I would use for any effect I, may one day produce. Having more than one input box really helps customize the effect a little more.
Pc dokter
SOS, I am Pc dokter and i didn't make the effect called 'radial blur'. It was Doker who made the effect, but i find it rather nasty that he isn't updating his effects to 2.5 final release and 2.6 beta 2. Rick Brewster
Part of the fault lies on us, however. The Effects API has been in flux for 2.5 and 2.6. Part of this is because there haven't really been any published effect plugins that we've seen, and so I've made some changes (for the better) that also ended up breaking backwards compatibility. Hopefully we'll get some good documentation and examples after 2.6 is available, and it'll take off.
