Clipboard format

Something strange: if I copy a selection in Paint.NET, I cannot paste it in OpenOffice - it is not recognised.

If I do the same with Paint, it works (OO sees it as Bitmap, Bitmap image, or GDI Metafile).

Can this be fixed ?

Thanks

I think it's more likely a problem with OpenOffice.org. I just tried pasting stuff into Thunderbird, MS Paint, and MS Word 2000, and it worked perfectly fine.

I don't think it's a problem. Open Office may just not support PDN. Try pasting into another program (Paint, for instance), then copying and pasting into OOo.

And yeah, definitely an Open Office bug. Please report it to them.

Why should OO support PDN ?

Looks like you're already wanting OO to support PDN, so I'm not sure why you're asking that question.

Aren't clipboard formats standard ?

Yes, there are standard clipboard formats. And Paint.NET puts a standard bitmap into the clipboard. OO isn't understanding it for some reason.
