Newbie..How to add Copyright info to my pics using paint.net

Recommended Posts

Woe betide you if you're using a laptop. In that instance, go to Start > Run... and type " Charmap.exe " (No quotes). Then select the character from the list, hit "Copy," and then paste it into Paint.NET.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

The chart is at Charmap.exe on all Windows PCs, desktop or laptop.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map

For the "Non-DOS" people

Lucky dog, none of the computers I've owned have ever had that shortcut in the start menu :-)

I never added it, 'cause I just got used to it being in the Run menu, I guess...
