BoltBait
Anyone have a template for writing file type effects? I've been reading the sources of file types that I could find. There aren't many that I could find. And, the built-in file types seem to be written differently than the external ones... what else is required? I tried to write a file type and it won't show up in the list. What is the minimum amount of code I need to get my file type to show up in the list? Help! I'm confused. If only there was a manual... Rick Brewster
You can look at the DDS file type actually. All you need is an implementation of the IFileTypeFactory in your DLL. Usually it just returns "new FileType[] { new YourFileType() };".
