St. Vincent and David Byrne's collaborative album Love This Giant! Great listen.

I have read some positive reviews of this album. I do believe a purchase may be necessary :)

^ Yup. Try a couple of songs first then decide, the brass gives it an interesting.twist.

In addition to the progressive bands I mentioned earlier, I've tried a couple of releases by Prince. Purple Rain is really great! Prince is such an interesting character.

I have everything released by Prince. Very inventive, always delivers the goods. MPLS sounds from 2009 is worthy of a listen, a true return to form and a hark back to the purple rain / around the world in a day / sign O the times era's.Some of his more "jazz" influenced releases in the mid 00's are worth a listen to as is the crystal ball 4 CD set. One nite alone is a really good album too. And if you can find one nite alone "live" then you will be in for a treat ;) infact almost everything he has released is worth the listen. :)

Is that Prince/ The Squiggle/ or The Artist Formerly Known As Prince :music::star: ( did he go back to Prince ?)

Little Red Corvette or Diamonds and Pearls would have to be my #1 + 2 favourites of his

Some Manc Attitude (dislike the football fans but some wicked music comes out of there ...)

So true Boltbait - Nothing compares to you was indeed a prince song and originally performed (semi) accapella by a protogee band of his called the family on the 1985 album of the same name released on his "paisley park" record label ;) Infact on the prince B-sides / singles album there is a jazz styled live version by prince (no way close to Sineads version of course)

I do not want what I havn't got is indeed a great album. And yes Welshblue, he is now currently known again as prince

I don't know what you were doing at 12 years old, but I wasn't doing this:

Nice voice. I imagine she has a future ahead of her.

The first one, for anyone who doesn't like rock, sort of sounds like pop or something after the 45 second mark.

The second one - I'll just give a warning that it's about exactly what the title makes it sound like, for those with younger ears around.

After that, I'll be listening to this:

AGJM, nice choice. I love Sublime.

Here's what I'm listening to:

It's a little harder than Sublime. ;)
