D Day tomorrow ... or has my life been too decadent 🤣

... just love the 'vinyl scratch' on this video.  It takes me back to when I used to play the single and not have to give a damn

I think my wife is ready to stab me after 5 albums in of my Marilyn Manson marathon ... I'll give her a lil' break.  She's into techno

A very bit soppy now but this is for my daughter who in the past week has passed her HGV3 driving test and today her ambulance driving test ... which means in 2 months she'll be moving out for good to pursue a career she's wanted since she was 11.  Overcoming extreme adversity to get there.  Proud doesn't come close

Anyone with young kids ... please don't wish time away.  Before you know it ... they've flown the nest and gone in a blink of the eye

I've always found the intro' eerie.  For the sound and what they can do with guitars

Sometimes only seriously good bass lines can focus the mind

Haley has a voice like silk..... posted for a friend of mine.

I got to see PMJ live and hang out with the band backstage before the show.  Scott Bradlee is really cool and down to earth.

Anyway, more musicians I have met:

I used to know the bass player, Bruce Turgon.

I wonder what he's up to these days...

Elizabeth Cotten (b.Jan 5, 1895 – d.Jun 29, 1987) shown here playing a song she wrote at 11 or 12 years old:

She's left handed and playing a right handed guitar.  This upside down style became known as Cotten Picking.  Her story.

That version always gives me goosebumps ... as does her cover of Seven Nation Army.

I had a cup of coffee with Robert Plant once when doing some work for him ... does that count 😃

Speaking of who and which

This is one of those tunes that you've just got to crank up.  My neighbours love it  so much,  they've thrown a brick through my window to hear it better ...
