Damn I used to have hair like that ... is why I'm bald now.  Punishment

I've always been undecided on Scritti Politti ... would never rush to put them on but find myself singing along a lot when I do hear them

Another one found by clicking (alil' bit of bad language ...)

... a powerful message

 Cool tune. Scritti did some good and a lot bad, indeed a selective group to pick a tune out of.

This on the other hand takes me right back to 1986. (I think that's because it was released then  )

And...

Don't Bring Me Down came on my radio this evening and it reminded me of the Doctor Who episode "Love and Monsters". Had to come home and look up both songs featured :)

Cool band Genesis.  Not sure why they're ridiculed by some

Nice one Kemaru.  Love their Joy Division cover

How many of the modern day 'superstars' will be going as long as this guy ?

Quality. Shirley Bassey on Vocals. The sadly missed Billy Mackenzie wrote the lyrics and added harmonies to this masterpiece.

My daughter and I were arguing discussing the merits of modern music.  So, I thought it was about time I gave her a musical education.  I spent several hours on Sunday picking all the songs.  The only band she actually liked was...

The Ramones

So, there is hope for her... maybe.

@ teh501' ...  cool track.  I enjoyed that

@ BoltBait ... how old is she ?  My daughter who's 15 surprised me the other week by how many classic rock/ heavy metal songs she'd started listening to and we had a pleasant evening going through Youtube with her singing along.   I thought her music world was limited to Eminem and Ed Sheeran

She should grow out of the boy band taste ;)

I'm going to see these in  September.

Just saw Muse on Olympiastadion in Helsinki. Not a fan of their newer stuff (except for Supremacy and Animals) but the concert was amazing. Mew was a great opening act as well
