Yes, I'm on version 2.1 of PDN at the moment, you should see version 7.5, that was a cool update! :D

(If you have no idea what I'm on about, Myrddin is Welsh for Merlin (actually, there's some controversy on the etymology of Myrddin, I found this great article which explains that Myrddin could be a derivative of Mirdin (among other names) which means 'madman'))

Oh, yeah! I didn't even make the connection, and I LOVE Stargate!

I also LOVE your nested parentheses.

But what are you going to do when you get back to MS Paint 1.0? Or (Shudder) Windows 1.0!?

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Please, stop, there's only so much I can take. Talk about fearing the past...or would that be the future for me?

:P

By the way, liking Stargate has just given you extra Brownie points and raised you in my books.

SCORE! Myrddin brownie points!

Oh, FYI - the scene in which DanJax explains Myrddin to Mitchell and Carter is one of my favorite parts of the ninth season. "Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!"

^^Yes! Completely! Although, if anyone has an urge to start spilling Season ten spoilers please do warn as I'm yet to watch S10. It's the whole DVD thing that's the reason, a long story of which I wish wasn't so.

I'm excited for the movies, too. I won't spoil your season ten. Quick, everyone, nobody say anything to Myrddin about Mitchell dying...

Oh. Oops... ;-) Don't worry, I'm joking. Or am I?

By the way, I was watching on DVD too, until I found out you could buy individual episodes about a day or two after they air on iTunes.

Wow, we're way offtopic. Um...Pyrochild, do you watch Stargate?

Nope.

"Those who reject the path to enlightenment must be destroyed."

I think I'll start following Origin, I see many parallels to my own life in their teachings and I believe they speak reason and truth*. Hallowed are the Ori!

*except for this bit: "Those who reach enlightenment shall rejoice with the Ori forever" because you won't.

I'm referencing the fictitious antagonists from the Stargate SG-1 television series, they are known as the Ori and, as ascended beings, they are using their higher power to sap the energy from worshipping followers of their 'religion' known as Origin. It's all basically a take on Christianity and the Crusades of Medieval Times.

Those lines I quote are a few (of many) teachings from this said religion, all of which can be found at the above URL I gave.
