Stock Photo Fodder: Classic Cars from Downtown Kirkland

Recommended Posts

Ok here's some photo fodder for you all. I took these pictures today at the Classic Car Show in Downtown Kirkland. I'm looking to you all to do take these and make some sweet photochops, wallpapers, etc. There's some cars in here for everyone ... maybe we'll find something new for the front page of http://www.getpaint.net :)

All images are Copyright © 2007 Rick Brewster (that's me!).I'm releasing these under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 license, http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/us/

Basically, do whatever you want, but you can't make any money off the images (but again, IANAL).

Do not link to these images. They are 7 megapixels and about 2-4 MB each and while my web hosting is awesome (HostMySite.com), it wouldn't withstand an enormous flood. If you want to send one of these images to a friend, either send them to this forum page, or send them a copy of the image through your own hosting. Thanks.

I said I took the photos at the Classic Car Show. Whether or not they are classic wasn't my classification.

Erm, you know what's called GIS I suppose :s ?

BTW, the "Share-alike" part of the licence means that if one modify the file the modified copy MUST be under the same license (cc by-nc-sa, that is).

^ My new wallpaper. Used some Soften Portrait, Gaussian Blur, Add Noise, Sharpen, and a transparency gradient.

Just so Rick doesn't get depressed, I created a wallpaper with one of his images:

Lots of blending modes used, but Multiply was the most common. I also used the Gaussian, Radial, and Motion blurs.

uH, I think it could use some cropping and some extra style. Right now it honestly just looks like you adjusted the color balance. I like the color balance though.
