Rick Brewster Posted August 23, 2005 Share Posted August 23, 2005 If you just want to start out with a transparent background in Paint.NET do this: 1. Select All (Ctrl+A) 2. Clear Selection (Delete) However, Paint.NET isn't an icon editor so you won't be able to open or save .ICO files.
