sunset87
Hi, I'm new here. I know this is probably a stupid question, but I'm trying to figure out how to use the program. I downloaded it because I'm about to paint my house and wanted to try out different colors. How do I change the color of the house? I tried using the rectangle and filling the box with the different colors, but that covers up the wood texture. How do I paint the house on this program so it looks real? barkbark00
Try putting your color on a new layer and messing with the layer blending modes. Also, there is plugin that lets you selectively alter the color of an image. It is called Conditional Hue/Saturation. sunset87
Thanks! That worked pretty well. It's not very realistic, but it works fine for picking colors.
FrEaK
post the picture of your house, some of the guys around here can do that stuff really well (not me ) no offense, but can probably give you a much better idea of what it will look like Quote Site: RIP =(

SilverIce
adding a new layer and the setting the layer property to "Multiply" is the best setting.
