pyrochild
Download from my plugin set Effects > Distort > Jitter You absolutely must be using the latest version of Paint.NET (3.10) to use this plugin. This plugin "Jitters" each row of pixels by a random amount. The angle, width of the rows, intensity of the effect, spacing between jittered rows, and edge-behavior are all adjustable. You can also toggle antialiasing. Something interesting you can do with this (very rough; I made it in 5 minutes based on a very old sig of mine): Download from my plugin set Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Crazy Man Dan
Reminds me of Photoshop's Wind effect on Blast (or was it Stagger... I don't remember.). Looks nice. david.atwell
I was going to request this a few weeks ago, but forgot to...you read my mind! Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
usedHONDA
Another great plugin, pyro! One suggestion, though-- can you create a rotation setting so you can choose the angle of the jitter? pyrochild
Once I make this into a full-fledged plugin (rather than a CodeLab throw-together), I'll add angle selection, an option for curved and diagonal rows (rather than the "Lego-brick" row separation they have now) As well as make the wrap option into a checkbox. The way I've implemented it now is... very hacky. Oh, and antialiasing! Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! barkbark00
...Oh, and antialiasing! Please make that optional. I really like the current pixelated effect! TY Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster

pyrochild
...Oh, and antialiasing! Please make that optional. I really like the current pixelated effect! TY AA would only apply to angles anyways... I don't see a reason, need or way to do it with horizontal or vertical "Jitters." Sure, it looks aliased, but that's just the nature of the effect.
