Need help on Fading Techniques

Recommended Posts

I need help on fading two photos together, but I do not want to fade them on top of each other. I need to fade them into each other, where the photos are side-by-side, but you can still easily tell that they are separate photographs. I'm essentially just trying to blend the borders together so that both photos are on the same file. I just need a transition between photos that does not include adding any extra borders. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (And no, I don't need the car/city fade tutorial since I'm not fading photos on top of each other.) Thank you!!!

Always good to look through the tutorials section here. The tutorial you are looking for is stickied at the top of the forum.

Follow this tutorial, but keep the nubs of the gradient close together.
