Layers

Recommended Posts

Okay, when I add a layer I want to see what happens to it. For example, I added a glow in the second layer, but you can't see it in a big screen only in the Layers' window. Is it even possible to see the change of the layers?

And one more question, there's a shape I selected in the picture and I want to move it, but it will not. I moved shapes before, but now it won't work any more. What am I doing wrong?

For the first one, check and make sure your second layer is visible. Also, if the glow is the same color as the background, you won't be able to see it on the canvas.

For the second one, the Move Selected Pixels tool moves any selected shapes. I'm not sure why it's not working here. Is anything happening, such as undesired scaling instead of moving?

Well, what I mean is that when the object is selected (the one I want to move), there's the purplish box around it. When I try to move it, the purplish box moves, but not the actual image/object.
