Hope this post finds everyone safe and healthy.  I made this abstract this morning and thought it looked like a white flower...a white flower of HOPE.

Before you leave, have a chocolate cupcake with cherry icing...on me.

Stay safe and healthy everyone and...take care of each other!  <3  🤗   Nothing is more important than Family, including our PDN family.

Lynx! You are okay, aren't you? <3

The white flower is lovely - glassy - soft and gentle - yet strong. Like hope itself. That's what people need now.

The creamy icing you create always creates h-u-n-g-e-r. Eyes in heaven. Candywoman @lynxster4 - please stay safe and thank you.

Thank you @Vagabondi, @welshblue, @Pixey, @Red ochre, @Maximilian and @JulioCoolio for the beautiful words and sentiments!  <3  :D

Thank you @ReMake and @Eli for the rep points!  <3  :D

Just loving that scatter brush in the Smudge Tool!  So much unrealized potential!  :P

We are all well here, so far, and glad to hear everyone else is well, also.  Stay safe, practice what you need to, and only go out when necessary! 💐

i find the shadow a bit off putting/ dominant taken into context with the angle viewing of the parrot taking into account the lighting

Probably.  I'm still playing with @BoltBait's Object Shadow Pro. Haven't devoted a lot of time to it yet.

You do need to play around with the settings quite a bit. I was being 'wild and daring'!  (haha)  I'll get the hang of it!

Thank you for the lovely comments, welshy!  <3

They are both beautiful @lynxster4 but the 2nd one seems to have more 'pop' to it.  Gorgeous colors and the texture of the feathers is awesome <3

I had a few as a child. I ate some of them as well ☺️.

I hope that was just the feathers @Eli and not the whole bird 🤣

They are just great. <3<3 I like the first one very much as another example of your decorative style - the texture is so realistic one can easily "touch and feel" it. The second one is softer and even more magical - almost alive. The background is fine, too. @lynxster4 is in details. ;)

And, knowing a few things about ShapeMaker now, let me add - you are the champion. :trophy:

Thank you @Eli! <3  When I read your comment, I hoped you were talking about maybe goose, pheasant, etc...not parrots!  😆

I had a few parakeets growing up; one always sat on my shoulder and gave me 'kisses'.

Thank you @Pixey<3  I like the 2nd one, also.  The first one was done as a stained glass piece.  :D

Thank you @Vagabondi<3  Since you are getting familiar with ShapeMaker, let me tell you this shape has over 300 paths. It was daunting...

and I wanted to show off the background...100% PDN, made into a seamless tile.  I am still working on more shapes for my pack...(I seem to be obsessed...)  😋

just keep the shadow

That's what I do, welshy, so I can move it around!  😋

Sure, get a bird...what's one more mouth to feed?  🙃  (what does the upside-down face even mean?)

❤️ My dear @lynxster4!

Brilliant sharpness and beautiful colours.
I also like the reflections very much.

I'm a big fan of colored glass.

Thank you so much. :cake: :coffee:

New Image!  Was playing around with the new ShapeMaker release and came up with this after coloring.

This looks like a suncatcher to me.  Enjoy!

I have a confession to make. In the 'Royal Crowns' contest, the lady's head was just supposed to be a simple outline, then I was going to make a fabulous crown.

But, I got carried away with the 'Lady' and kept filling in more of her features. When she was pretty much done, I didn't have time to make a proper crown.  Oh, well...

This is my first attempt at a person that is not a cartoon figure.  She's not totally life-like, but close. I put some finishing touches on her and I now present 'Lady'.

  • lynxster4 changed the title to lynxster creations ~ 'Lady' ~ NEW! 😊

Beautiful. I like how you did the eye makeup since I am terrible at doing my own lol. People are really hard to make. She looks very regal.
