lynxster creations ~ 'Farewell Summer' - NEW!

Everyone must be half cut with all the cocktail glasses flying around :D

Great glassy look, and the swizzle stick blends in perfectly.   Awesome colours too ... almost makes me want to drink alcohol again :(

@MadJik....yes, I see the progression...mad, mad, cocktail glasses filled with liquor; then mad, mad, drunken dancing!

A larger and more refined version of my latest SOTW entry;  'Pearls 'n Roses'.

It was really difficult to get the TGM plugin to look good when working with such a small size for the contest.

And I think it's really important to pick the proper image.

Please enjoy!!   :)

EDIT:  The original image is my own creation.

Beautiful! Reminds me of the intro to Family Affair, which I've always thought was beautifully hypnotic. <3

Thank you, LD!  I'm so pleased that you like it.  <3    Now that I think about it, yes, it does!  I watched that show....those were the days!   :)

Thank you, Pixey! <3   I can see where it looks like a wreath, but my original immediately reminded me of pearl strands. It's funny how we interpret things differently! :D

You're right @lynxster4, it does look better full sized! And a great job on the texturing.

Thank you, Woodsy!  <3  TGM does not resize well at all. It took me a while to get it 'just right'!  ;)

I really, really like that.  Would look great on a huge canvas on a wall.  Nice job on the background ... in my experience they're just as important as the forefront and can make or break an image

Awww....thank you so much Welshy!  <3   You've given me an idea.  I have access to a color large-format printer and roll photo paper!  I may make a large print and frame it.

It would look great on my azure blue wall!  :mrblue:    (Look at my avatar...that wall)

@lynxster4 dooo eeeet! That would be stellar!

LD, I've printed it on plain white paper (24" x 36") and I'm going to take it home just to see how it looks on the wall.

If it looks good, I'll print it on the photo paper.

Thanks for the encouragement!   :D

EDIT:  the colors are not exactly the same vs. when viewing it on a monitor, though. The background came out way pinker.

It's really satisfying when you see one of your works on the wall.

I did it a few years ago ... that was until it didn't go with the new colour scheme ... in fact there's been so many colour scheme changes (not my choosing) I'm surprised we can get through the door with so many different coats of paint on the wall :P

edit ... beaten to it
