pyrochild
Thanks for this explanation, I've never seen any difference between geek and nerd...pale skin, glasses like glass bricks, strange three-day beard etc...Geek and nerd are completely different. I'd elaborate, but Myrddin has already done an excellent job.And pale skin, glasses like glass bricks and 3-day beards are just misguided stereotypes. I have an excellent tan. I love the great outdoors, and would rather be out mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, etc. than sitting on my arse at a computer. Unfortunately, the weather does not always favor biking and hiking, and my wallet does not always favor boarding. Sad day... And my glasses are quite thin and stylish. Er, for glasses... (And chicks dig my "3-day beard.") But there is actually no evidence - in my opinion - to be taken out of the mainstream (unvoluntarily as far as I interpret most of the postings here) because of enthusiastic knowledgement in a single domain, or am I wrong? Enthusiastic knowledge is not the norm, and is therefore not mainstream. Maybe you need to refresh your idea of what "mainstream" means. Dictionaries are good for that Being a good programmer inevitable goes with being excluded by society?Who said that? Pretty sure you're the only one who's said anything of the sort... Simon Brown
Translated? .... As in languages, translating from one language to another..... Yes, but why would you need to translate from US English to UK English - or am I missing something?

Bobofthedead
Well I speak fluent English but I don't know a word of American. They're entirely different languages - I can see why translation times were so long... Quote "I am the anarchist, I am the antichrist, I am the walrus, G'JOO G'GOO G'JOOB!" Rubrica
What is your mental image of me then?Short height (because of our age), short dark hair, a moderately sized face - not too long nor too short - and of regular build for your age. Smiles a lot. No... laughs a lot. And a blue t-shirt to match your signature, don't ask why.I have no need to imagine any further down from your shoulders. And by the way, to stop me from disintegrating in front of your eyes (well, that would be messy, and since it's your imagination, you'd have to clear it up.), I suppose I'm not that ugly. Thanks for your consideration for my mind, it thanks you.------------------------------------------------------------- Apart from my hair (you got the black bit right, but it's quite long. Long as in thick, not long as in skater hairstyle.), you got that all perfectly right.
Andrew D
Translated? .... As in languages, translating from one language to another..... Yes, but why would you need to translate from US English to UK English - or am I missing something? No, it's because the Europe version has to be translated into 5 more languages, yet I think they do it one at a time rather than all at the same time, as it only took 3 months between the Japenese version and the American one. Simon Brown
Its weird they don't want to translate the EU version strait away - which they could probably if they cared enough about it.

Anyways, RANT: God almighty, Godot is such an arrogant idiot. They better bring back Edgeworth for Apollo Justice. And also make sure Phoenix is in more than the first case of Apollo Justice aswell. Anyways, for the game, it's pretty good, challenging but not enough to make your hair be torn out.
Yata
Grr, I am ticked! This morning I received a comment on dA from http://jessicamadison.deviantart.com/ who told me I should enter a poem into a contest at poetry.com... turns out he's now banned and was a bot with 11k+ deviant comments. Wonderful, I gave them personal info too. GREAT.... BoltBait
It's not like I gave them a credit card number or anything. They'll probably just spam me... Right? They will tell you that you won their poetry contest and want to publish your work in their book. Then, they will try to sell you copies of the book that contains your poetry. You know, so you can show off to all of your family and friends. Yata, he was making fun of your misuse of "their." It should have been "they're." "They're" is short for "they are." "Their" is possessive. As in, "Those kids are wearing their new shoes." Rubrica
My rant: Football. While trying to learn the most basic move of the game I despise, which our school FORCES us to learn, I stepped ON TOP of the ball, my legs went forwards while my body went backwards, I did a weird sort of turn in mid air so that my legs went back while my legs went forward, and fell and grazed my knee. On concrete. Two days later, I still can't walk. My next rant: Football. Again. At my school if you don't like football, you die. Simple as. Guess what? I hate football. If you go around calling the sport soccer in Europe, you are immediately labeled an American. Or, if your accent is good enough, an idiot.
