Myrddin
I like being a geek. Geek shows intelligence. Although, admittedly not something I shout about simply because of society's misconception of what a 'geek' is. -------------------------------------------------------- Rant: Whilst travelling my cursor over to the right of the screen to scroll down the Forum index page, I accidentally hit the 'mark forums read'... vista?
WOOOO! I'm uglier than Rubrica! I so proud to be ugly - I don't care how I am That's about the third time you said that...we know now that you dislike your outward appearance... Maybe there are many other reasons why there are no girls admiring you...? Tell us your rants. I'm happy with how I look like - honestly. The uglier I look, the less attention I get which is good for me. No one asks me out or anything and I don't intend to.

Max Power
I met a lot of strange people here...a lot of weird people... Who doesen't like to be asked out? Start living! Myrddin
nerding geking :? Sorry, I just had to. Anyway, if they do not wish to date, so be it, they have plenty of life left in them to have a change of direction in this respect. Plus, why force them into a situation they clearly would not like because it would be more 'normal'? With that said, Rubrica and vista?, the more times you claim your ugliness, the more my imagined image of you decays - soon you'll look like a leper in my mind, I do not wish for this mental Polaroid . Sorry! What is your mental image of me then? And by the way, to stop me from disintegrating in front of your eyes (well, that would be messy, and since it's your imagination, you'd have to clear it up.), I suppose I'm not that ugly. Curmudgeon
So my old mouse was on it's last legs...it had it's day in the sun, but it was about 5 years old. I bought a new mouse, a Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000...my first wireless mouse. Shaped completely different than my old mouse, 5 programmable buttons on it...sounded good while shopping. But, I never realized how many times I must've knocked my old mouse off my desk until I bought the wireless mouse. So far, I've had to pick it up off the floor 5 times since installing it yesterday. All the time I had my old mouse and it never dawned on me how many times I knocked it off the desk as I never had to pick it up off the floor. And at $70, I certainly don't want to break this one any time soon
Mike Ryan
My Rant: I hate it when people think that a BETA release is in fact a true release. I have news for you, it isnt. If your plugins arent working then dont create an new thread or post to cry about, stay with the stable release. Until you know the difference between BETA and RELEASE from a devloper's standpoint, stick with v2.22!! GAH!!!

Myrddin
What is your mental image of me then?Short height (because of our age), short dark hair, a moderately sized face - not too long nor too short - and of regular build for your age. Smiles a lot. No... laughs a lot. And a blue t-shirt to match your signature, don't ask why.I have no need to imagine any further down from your shoulders. And by the way, to stop me from disintegrating in front of your eyes (well, that would be messy, and since it's your imagination, you'd have to clear it up.), I suppose I'm not that ugly. Thanks for your consideration for my mind, it thanks you.------------------------------------------------------------- Rant: The roof aerial to our house is the only one on the street to be out of alignment, so our signal is not as strong. It's pretty good - better than our last house - but in bad weather (like today), signal is shocking. We have digital television (which I cannot wait for the complete switch-over for the promised stronger signal), but that is just as poor in such weather. Ordinarily I would not be too bothered, though with my parents out and having the house to myself, it was perfect opportunity to kick back, as they say, and enjoy the televisual delights I do not indulge in often. And it is/was Friday, so NCIS was on. Why our aerial? And for the second house we've lived in as well? It's an omen.
