RFX
I decided to save a few bucks by not going to the school dance. I half regret it because a couple of girls had wanted me to go. No worries my friend as there's plenty of time to do that at clubs if that's your kinda thing. You're not missing out on much.
AGJM
Rant: My friend was watching a video that was pushing a conspiracy about the Sandy Hook Shooting tragedy. I am currently watching it now. I will say that there is not a single ounce of credibility to any of it - its lies to attack the government and to attack the victims. Because of the fact that people buy into such things. They say the president was with the Emilie child that was brutally, soullessly murdered - but if you double check for yourself, that's the sister to from the family photo with the pigtails undone - they probably wore matching dresses. Then there is the supposed CNN interview with the MacDonald parents. Audio muted. Well, that video just so happens not to be in the link list below the video. It also happens to look like it was filmed a while ago - the quality of the film doesn't match a newer interview, it looks old. The interview also happens to never have occurred: https://www.google.com/search?q=Macdonald+Family+CNN+interview The video is infuriating, to say the least. I have little - make that no - respect for whoever deemed it necessary to lie so much to make this video. If you watch it, toss it a handy dislike. Quote The hardest part of ending is starting again. AGJM
Opposite...send rain, please! We are getting some in SC right now. My dogs went outside, so I covered them up when they came back in with blankets. They love being covered in blankets. Dog blankets, of course - I don't ruin my family's stuff, don't worry. But I woke up an hour late (at 6:30 instead of 5:15-5:30) so now I'm tired and scrambled and words. Words hurt my brain today. Quote The hardest part of ending is starting again. Kemaru
I really wouldn't like to have the -20 and dropping that Kemaru is living in. Sod that. It went down to -17 here 3 years ago and that was hibernation time If I said you get used to it after a while, I'd be lying. These temperatures don't last long, fortunately! AGJM
I keep on, well, hallucinating. In a way. I was watching TV for an hour, and there were about three or four times where I thought I saw a shady, black blur moving around parts of the house. But stuff like that is, apparently, one of the side effects of my medicine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methylphenidate#Long-term_effects Not to self diagnose. It was probably - more of definitely - from lack of sleep or the dark windows + lights from the TV. I won't worry about it. Don't worry, guys. Quote The hardest part of ending is starting again. barbieq25
The beer is for the guys & the coffee is for me. I don't drink unless it is some phenomenally expensive with calorie count to match, cocktail. Nobody ever offers to buy me a second one Rep'd & 111 posts too! Drew Dale - that is real pretty as Welshy said but I wouldn't venture outside in weather like that for too long. I most certainly would not be washing a car! Kemaru, that is jsut obscene. Anything less than 20C & I feel like an ice block. At that temp, I'd have to be on life-support. Nice outcome Welshy. Definitely a silver lining! We are sweltering! 85% humidity 40C & Sydney which is south of us by about 2000km has had temp in excess of 45C. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. barbieq25
Mine has gone AWOL. Sometimes I have to wonder why I feed him. BP, the best remedy for man cold/flu is to take off for a week. Mind you if you go to stay with rellies, the cure is as bad as the malady More seriously, studies have shown that men are less able to cope with the symptoms. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry.
