Lance: Uh, what? Emily is my limerent object, which is a complex, scientific, silly and useless way of saying she IS the object of my affections, although it's not something I'm happy about; my brain just sort of went "oh, she's funny... and pretty... and kind... hey, that seems like a good combination, let's fall in love!". :D

And welshblue, I know I complain too much, and I apologise for it. :D Sorry, it's just that limerence tends to make me irrational like ths, and hence I blabber on and on when I shouldn't... like now.

@j.d.melek

Just wanted you to know, Tim Minchin is awesome, and that makes you awesome too.

I do believe that great minds think alike..(and fools seldom differ!)

not sure which one I am..but I do believe Tim Minchin is "the best thing since sliced bread!" B)

I'm so happy someone else thinks so too.

Speaking of unhappy...My classes were supposed to start tomorrow...but due to snow, the campus has been closed =( No Pharmacology class Monday morning...and I was excited to start.

I've also got physical therapy for my knee tomorrow(broke my knee in November) and I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna get there...I can't drive in snow...and everyone who could give me a ride is most likely busy...

"Tweeked" my back over the weekend. I can't stand up without crying.

Made it to the chiropractor this morning. Didn't help much.

I feel like I'm 90 years old--I need a walker.

:(

welcome to my world...... you might have some luck if you try Doans pills for the back. Works wonders and targets just the back doesn't make you feel drowsy all over. Always does the trick for me.

But, I'm not ready to be an Opa yet. :D

The chiropractor says I will be like this for a while. :(

The problem, he says, is that I sit too much (I'm a programmer, go figure!) and I'm destroying my lower back.

I have an acupuncture appointment scheduled for Thursday. Hopefully that'll give me some relief.

My mom's been going to a chiropractor for about 6 months for her sciatic nerve...It helps until she moves funny...then she's down for awhile...

A friend of ours had a pinched nerve in his shoulder and went to physical therapy for it...helped a lot more than chiropractor, says he...

Might want to look into it?

You seen those ergonomic chairs? The ones that you virtually kneel on but maintain an upright body position? They are supposed to be excellent for backs.

I tried an inflatable exercise ball for sitting on in front of the PC. Wonderful for core strength - hopeless for posture :(.
