My friend sent me a link and I started reading it. I dunno why, i'm just interested in this nonsense.

E: Crazy alien reptile stuff aside, that site has several valid points on subjects such as society and individualism.

Retail was $1.30 an issue, six days a week. Plus we had it delivered (rural delivery).

Standards of journalism had really started to fall, bad grammar, cliches and once-over-lightly stories. I'm willing to pay for decent, in-depth journalism - not for rubbish.

I couldn't agree with you more there, EER. I feel the same way. I once had a teacher that taught us oral interpretation class, and she said she always cringed at the news anchor. I suppose they had forgotten the proper English and grammar. I'm guilty of that myself, but in my defense, English is my second language as American Sign Language is my primary language.

Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day.

We need more themes for the paint.net forum. Something a bit shinier or colourful, with all the graphic design artists using the program it just seems like we could do better.

So make one. :P

Rant: PDN won't open. Well maybe it will, but I've waited 10 minutes, and task manager says it's 'running'.

This could be linked to the fact that I just installed about 30,000 (no typo, thirty thousand) fonts to my computer. I had about 5,000 installed and PDN took a minute to open. :D

Edit: Hey! PDN opened!

Edit2: Now to see how long it takes to respond after clicking the "Text" Tool :P

Edit3: It responded, now to check and see if any fonts are being dumb and causing errors. :)

After I wiped my hard drive and installed Windows 7, I've kept my font selection extremely slim - 152 right now. I've decided to keep it limited to fonts I'd actually use - basically: fonts that are readable and licensed for commercial use.

One of my new favorites is Sertig - an absolutely gorgeous sans that's licensed for anything, including CSS3 @font-face distribution. :)

Thanks for the share CMD, and same here... I try to get commercially available free fonts because that's what I use for my logo design and you can't break copyright laws when dealing with real money.

I'll see what I can do with this font. ;)
