Zwicky
As soon as they called religion "a form of control that was created by the ruling elite long before you were born" it was immediately untruthful. Then they talked about reptilian aliens. Seriously?
Kemaru
My friend sent me a link and I started reading it. I dunno why, i'm just interested in this nonsense. E: Crazy alien reptile stuff aside, that site has several valid points on subjects such as society and individualism. Lance McKnight
Retail was $1.30 an issue, six days a week. Plus we had it delivered (rural delivery). Standards of journalism had really started to fall, bad grammar, cliches and once-over-lightly stories. I'm willing to pay for decent, in-depth journalism - not for rubbish. I couldn't agree with you more there, EER. I feel the same way. I once had a teacher that taught us oral interpretation class, and she said she always cringed at the news anchor. I suppose they had forgotten the proper English and grammar. I'm guilty of that myself, but in my defense, English is my second language as American Sign Language is my primary language. K_I_N_G
This rant thread will explode if religion gets involved. Kemaru
Yes, but we are not arguing. (from sanctuary)... but because our wireless internet is stupid and disconnects every now and then, I'm downloading it for the 3rd time. K_I_N_G
That wasn't an implication of argument, more of a deterrent for the fool that will undoubtedly present his ignorance to the world. We need more themes for the paint.net forum. Something a bit shinier or colourful, with all the graphic design artists using the program it just seems like we could do better. Kemaru
Arguing is only fun in the internet, in real life the opposition is always unprepared. warfighter67
Rant: PDN won't open. Well maybe it will, but I've waited 10 minutes, and task manager says it's 'running'. This could be linked to the fact that I just installed about 30,000 (no typo, thirty thousand) fonts to my computer. I had about 5,000 installed and PDN took a minute to open. Edit: Hey! PDN opened! Edit2: Now to see how long it takes to respond after clicking the "Text" Tool Edit3: It responded, now to check and see if any fonts are being dumb and causing errors. warfighter67
Well the good news is PDN doesnt take forever to start up anymore. I still have about 35,000 more fonts I could choose to install that are on my computer but I'm going to leave it at 30,000 hahahaha. warfighter67
It was a download package of 65,000 fonts. I'm not going to sit there and sift through each and every font to see what I want. The only reason I was able to stay at 30,000 is because the fonts are split into separate packs. Quote My Soundclick!--Well of Souls MMO--Gallery--Facebook--Photobucket--Cool Tile Texture! Crazy Man Dan
After I wiped my hard drive and installed Windows 7, I've kept my font selection extremely slim - 152 right now. I've decided to keep it limited to fonts I'd actually use - basically: fonts that are readable and licensed for commercial use. One of my new favorites is Sertig - an absolutely gorgeous sans that's licensed for anything, including CSS3 @font-face distribution. Gamer_World14
Thanks for the share CMD, and same here... I try to get commercially available free fonts because that's what I use for my logo design and you can't break copyright laws when dealing with real money. I'll see what I can do with this font.
