pyrochild
It seems unlikely N++ would ship with a broken plugin. Besides, the problem didn't start immediately after upgrading. I was just messing around with a clean install of Notepad++ and the included version of the FTP plugin is, in fact, quite buggy. david.atwell
It's been very hot the last week or so, but last night and today were VERY comfortable. I'm quite happy about this. :-) Oh, right, a rant: Um, grr, bad gas prices or something. Quote  The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

MattBlackLamb
The story of getting Wifi working on my laptop has been ongoing since I got it last October. Despite much trial & effort following various guides that had comments from people with the same OS (Ubuntu) and make and model of Wifi card (Atheros ar242x) saying this worked for them it never seemed to work for me. I can connect to the internet on my laptop, through an ethernet cable that runs downstairs to the router, which is obviously not an ideal situation. I tried getting a belkin wireless adaptor I found lying around the house to work, it didn't. I tried using the Sitecom Wifi adaptor that my PC uses to connect to the internet, it managed to pick up a signal (better than anything else thus far) but couln't connect to the network. A couple of weeks ago I actually decided to spend money on a USB wifi adaptor, a Tenda W322U wireless N compatible card, this when plugged in to a USB port managed to connect to the network and I was able to browse the network - very slowly and still no internet access. The next day I tried plugging in the adaptor before the OS had started up, now it doesn't work at all..... It's only been 9 or so months without any success, I think I'm allowed a little rant Quote dA Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you & be with men that are ten times better than you can imagine. These men are called musicians.
